The nearest railway station is in Haltwhistle. There are two trains an hour from Newcastle upon Tyne, and two trains an hour from Carlisle, offering connections to the wider National Rail network.
Transport will be provided between Haltwhistle and the con. This will likely be between 2.30pm and 5.30pm on both Thursday 26 and Friday 27 September. The journey time is 10 minutes.

Stagecoach service 685 connects Newcastle upon Tyne, Haltwhistle, and Carlisle. Buses run once per hour.
